2001-2006 West Coast Pinot Noir Issue (October 2008 Special Issue)

At the high scoring end, the 2005 AP Vin, Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands Rosella's Vineyard received an average score of 94 points and at $47 it is 27% of the average cost for a similar scoring West Coast Pinot Noir. The 2004 Carmel Road, Pinot Noir Arroyo Seco received an average score of 92 and at $28 it is 41% of the average $68 cost of a similar scoring West Coast Pinot Noir wine earning it a "Great Value" moniker.
At the value end of $19, the 2003 York Mountain Winery, Pinot Noir Edna Valley received an average score of 89 points and is 41% the average $46 cost of a similar scoring West Coast Pinot Noir. At $15 the 2002 Firesteed, Pinot Noir Oregon received an average score of 88 points and is 38% the average $39 cost of a similar scoring West Coast Pinot Noir.
